What to do if..... (Faq)
Q : They told me I should set a pass to the bot, how do I do that ?
A : Type : /msg marcel pass [choose a password]
Don't type the "[" and "]" there.
Q : Oke, I have my pass set, now what do I do to op myself ?
A : Type : /msg marcel op [your password]
Don't type the "[" and "]" there.
Q : I can't op myself, what should I do ?
A : Try to ident to the bot.
(/msg marcel ident [your password here] [nick used when added])
You probably changed your hostmask, that's why you can't op yourself
Example hostmask :
I am added to the bot like this "*!not@*.multiweb.net"
If you change the "not" to something else, you must
use IDENT on the bot otherwise you can op yourself.
When you have a new ISP you must do this aswell.
Q : The bot gives me a message :"You have a note waiting on the bot",
what do I do to read it ??
A : Type : /msg marcel NOTES [password] READ [# or ALL]
Q : Oke, I read my message on the bot, but it still gives me a message
that I got a note, what do I do ?
A : Type : /msg marcel NOTES [password] ERASE [# or ALL]
Q : I want to leave a message to a person on the bot, how do I do that ?
A : First you must know if the person you want to give a message, is on the bot,
if this person isn't on the bot, it will NOT work !!
If the person does exist on the bot type this :
/msg marcel NOTES [password] TO [nickname] [message...]
